Dean Sickler-Director Dundean Studios
Dean Sickler is the owner and founder of Dundean Studios: a working and teaching studio in Chatham, NJ.
He has been in the painting and decorating business since 1975, having executed decorative finish and art commissions across North America.
He is active in conservation and restoration work and holds a degree in Art and Art History.
Dean is one of a select group of decorative artists who is a member of the International Salon exhibiting and demonstrating in Europe and the USA.
He is president of the Mid-Atlantic Faux and Decorative Artisans (MAFDA) chapter of
the PDCA and will be lecturing at SALI and the Dallas Faux Expo this August, 2005.
Dean's articles on color theory and application thereof have graced the pages of Faux Finisher Magazine time and again.
We are fortunate enough to have Dean teaching two half-day programs at the Faux Expo in September.
The first course is a 4 Hour Practical Color Theory Course
This course comes with a 6 chapter workbook, a color wheel and color swatches.
