GEL ORIDE

Gel Oride is a powdered thickening agent that can be combined with
Oxidizers or any type of chemical or acid stain
(including strait Muriatic Acid)
to make a paste compound that won't be neutralized by the powder.
This is especially useful in no-bleed stencilwork utilizing
self-adhesive stencil systems like the Modello Designs line.
The process is simply to take a bit of the Gel Oride and
mix it into a small quantity of stain to create a paste.
This is then wrapped in a painter's rag.
The painter's rag is then squeezed to allow material to saturate the rag.
However, the rag must not be dripping at all.
Simply insure that it is coated with a clump
of the saturated paste in the middle.
Very little material is needed for such stencil work as
it can be re-loaded when the stain is all out of it.
For walls, the Gel Ordie is mixed with Oxidizers in a larger quantity.
The resulting clump of paste is troweled on the wall at
an extreme angle so as not to leave any paste behind.
It is only necessary to make contact with the Overlay for reaction.
No residue need remain.
Generally, two-three colors are applied at a time.
Overlap is irrelevant as it only adds to the range of colors.
