Hardener is the final component in the Overlay System as
a means of hardening the material after all stain work is done.
By allowing the Overlay Compound to remain soft and
sandable until all carving, profiles and sculpting have been done,
Liquid Hardener gives us the time to correct
mistakes prior to locking the medium down permanently.
Some applicators will also sprinkle Hardener on prior
to stain application to make for intentional "Holidays" in the effect.

Coverage is approximately 400 sf/gallon.
2-3 thin passes are recommended...until the Hardener
begins to bead on the surface and is no longer absorbed.
