Course will consist of ongoing lecture and demonstration of an elaborate
Grottesca Panel featuring inlays, trompe effects, perspective explanation etc.

Having attended the prestigious Liceo Artistico in Rome and the Institute Superieure de Peintre Decorative
in Paris under the instruction Yannick Guegan and Christian Martincourt, two of the most well respected
names in the industry, Nicola Vigini, a native Roman, combines a lifetime of artistic training in Europe and America.
His insightful Exploration into the history and development of Grottesca Painting will intrigue and amaze you.

This will be an all-day, hands-on Grottesca Panel Course.
Students will complete an 18'x24' polystyrene board of a multi-colored Grottesca design using
a 3 overlay stencil on a base of aged plaster using Nicola's new line of Grottesca Stencils.
Hand-painted details will be added.
Additional elements of Grottesca will be discussed as students complete their projects.

This course runs from 9am-5pm Monday(Aug 8th) with a one hour lunch.
Course Tuition is $275.00/person.
