Rebecca E. Parsons has been a professional decorative artist for
over 30 years studying mainly with French and Italian masters.
She owns Rebecca E. Parsons Studios, Inc. in Fernandina Beach, FL and San Diego, CA.
REP Studios is the parent company of faux is me™ decorative painting studios, “Do What You Love Workshops™,
and Sacred Art™ which specializes in Religious Icons and Illuminated Manuscript.

Having been successfully self-employed for the past 20 years,
Rebecca offers sound business advice to the decorative painting industry through her
business book ”Do What You Love-Love What You Do, The Step-by-Step Guide to Faux Business Success,”
her business column in The Faux Finisher magazine, and her motivational lectures
that coach and counsel hundreds of decorative painters each year.

Rebecca serves the Stencil Artisans League Inc. (SALI) as Editor of The Artistic Stenciler
magazine and writes for several national publications on a regular basis.
She has appeared on HGTV and the DIY Network and teaches at
several art museums and schools throughout North America.

Build a Successful Decorative Painting Business

This intense and fun workshop will enable the new or established decorative
painter to build and/or run a successful decorative painting business.

Work with Rebecca on the building blocks of a professional practice based on her
business workbook-”Do What You Love-Love What You Do.”
We will lay a solid foundation with mini-workshops on business,
marketing, financial planning and project management.

We will reinforce the structure with discussions on such vital
topics as pricing your art, finding clients, and selling your talent.
Finally we will add the finishing details of taking care of business.
You will leave with the complete structure and knowledge to design or
redesign a career in decorative painting.

Class will run from 9am-5pm with a one-hour lunch on Wednesday, August 10th, 2005
Bring notebook and pencils, any business forms you currently use,
business cards, promotional materials, pricing plan and questions.
Tuition for this all-day, interactive course is $200.00
