Travertine Oxidizer

Travertine Oxidizer is the hottest new color offered
in the Bella Vernici Concrete Stain System.
This Oxidizer is perfect over White Overlay or LimeStone
The sample you see above is probably one of the simplest ways to incorporate this color on a floor. It was simply laying on our
White Overlay Compound. Allowing it to dry overnight. Hydrate with water and spray Travertine Oxidizer over 100% of the floor the next day. Immediately spatter Denatured Alcohol randomly across the wet Oxidizer. Broadcast iron filings at strategic placements. Lightly spray Travertine Oxidizer again over approximately 60% of the floor(being sure to cover iron filings completely). We did a minor residue mopping(Travertine has almost zero residue). Lastly, we applied Liquid Hardener, waited for it to dry three hours and then finished with two coats of Brown Gravy Wax for sheen.

In the sample below, LimeStone was used instead of White Overlay. Rocksalt was thrown into the LimeStone after it was troweled, but while still wet. The following morning, Liquid Hardener was applied as 3 coats (each a minimum of 30 minutes apart). That afternoon it was diamond polished to a 3000 grit. The Travertine Oxidizer was applied after all polishing was done. Then, Liquid Hardener was again applied. No Brown Gravy Wax or CounterTopcoat were necessary due to the high sheen created by polishing. Staining after all polishing eliminates holidays(blank areas) in the finish. However, it is almost impossible with most stains. This is due to the reticulation created from the high acid content in most stains. This problem does not exist in the Bella Vernici system as our Oxidizers will titrate into most polished or hard-troweled surfaces. Thus, they open a whole new world of potential for polished floors.

The Bella Vernici Architectural Concrete System and concrete acid stain is designed to work for Decorative and
Faux Finishing Paint Artists and Contractors to create a cement veneer and chemical or
concrete acid stain system that will create a faux or decorative concrete finish designed to
embellish any art or design in a home. Classes paint the image of the concrete system that
dispells the myth that concrete acid stains have to be difficult to paint, decorate or contract with.
Using Modello design stencils, the Bella Vernici system can offer artists and decorative
painters options never seen in Decorative concrete paint or concrete acid stains previously.
Additionally, our cement overlay veneer offers a paper-thin profile that
reacts with the concrete acid or concrete chemical stains like a six-inch concrete slab.

No other concrete or cement system can allow for such drastic reactions while
maintaining color integrity and artistic applications when dealing with concrete acid stain,
concrete acidic paint or chemical stains-especially when utilizing the Modello design stencils.
Through the gelatinizing process of our concrete
system's gel oride, non-bleed Modello design stencil work is achieved.

Artwork takes on a whole new embodiment when including the fresco medium available in our concrete veneer system.
This cement overlay has an 8hr window for buon fresco application of concrete acid stain,
chemical dye or pure pigment application for a true, crystallization in wet fresco.

Modello design stencils may also be used in conjunction with the cement
fresco medium when doing these architectural finishes.
Concrete Acid Stains can be thickened with the gel oride and rubbed on the Modello design stencils
to create patterns in the fresco or a wall pattern from acid stains that gives the
beauty and durability of the concrete finishes of ancient Rome.

All of these architectural finishes offer the design, art and decorative aspects
associated with concrete and cement finishes and concrete acid stains popular in architectural design today.
